The food was ok but I really enjoyed the beer/ambiance! I went for the trivia on Tuesday nights and really enjoyed it. The trivia is filled out via phone and had some fun prompts. The beer I thought was good & complex (I got a hazy IPA) the food menu was really creative. We got the Caesar with chicken, fries with aioli, and Brussel sprouts. The salad was a little dry and lacking, the fries were just normal fries but the Brussel sprouts were really good! I will probably be back for another trivia night!

lots of appetizers to choose from to share! perfect happy hour spot. loud ambiance and lots going on! the pretzel was massive and good amount of cheese and salt. chicken wings were well seasoned and flavorful too

This is one of those places that I had bookmarked in a local spots collection and just never went. I wish we had! We had a perfect Sunday by coming here for lunch at 11:30 and then walking to Oak Meadows park for train/carousel rides. They have a small but classic rotating on tap brews. I ordered their Hef and my husband chose their kolsch. We loved both for their crisp, fresh, and yet unique taste. We had an eager toddler with us otherwise would have stayed for a second round. We ordered their soft pretzel- pretty good! Nice and soft and quite large. Husband had their burger and fries. I am a bit of a fry snob and these were some of the best I have had. I was sad to not be able to try the brisket because they ran out but this just makes me wanna come back! They have sit down with full service and bar seating with casual outdoor space. Pup and kid friendly in a cute downtown area!

Overall a fun place to hang with friends! The food was delicious: both the brussels sprouts and the pretzel board. Pretzel board comes with a giant fresh warm pretzel and charcuterie/cheese that pairs well with it. Beer was ok to me. I liked that it came in a flight so that we could try different options. You pay per glass so the prices varied from $3-4 for each. I don't recommend the Cougar Juice seltzer. My friends seemed to enjoy their options: Oktoberfest, Cider, and Z Machine. Ambiance is nice. There is a lot of space for groups to sit inside, and some space outside as well.

I live in Los Gatos, and this place is always teeming with people in the outdoor area, especially when the weather is beautiful. I'm not a beer drinker, so it was never on the top of my list of places to try. But lately, it's been one of our go to places for an early weekend dinner. Indoors, the vibe is exactly what you would expect from a brewery: industrial and rustic. High ceilings, metal fixtures, and long wooden tables. Outdoors there's some artificial grass, lounge chairs with umbrellas, picnic tables, and corn hole. The outdoor area is hopping on a lovely Saturday afternoon. There is a social, fun element here that makes it feel like you are having more than just a drink or some food, it's an experience. And I think that's why we enjoy coming here over the weekend. The service has been good. Some days you order at the bar and they drop off food to your table, and other days they have servers in the restaurant area. Either way has worked out just fine for us. I've had a few things here before, but my partner always orders the giant pretzel as a main. It's so good, especially when you dip it in the pimento cheese that comes with it. I aspire to try their pretzel board one day, which is a combination of a giant pretzel and a charcuterie board! It looks and sounds amazing. Last visit, I had the salmon salad-smoked salmon over arugula, sunflower seeds, picked onions, and garlic oil. If you are looking for a healthier option, this is a good choice. The salad was perfectly dressed, and the salmon was flavorful. I'd absolutely order this again. Beer is the star of the show here, I know, but it's not my thing. My partner has partaken though and reports back very favorably, for what it's worth. Overall, I'd recommend visiting if you are looking for a fun and tasty dining experience.

We were planning on going to a different place for lunch but ended up parking right by where Loma Brewing was located and saw some guys who were sitting drinking beer outside and they said, "this place has great brisket." I guess that's kind of like an offline version of Yelp! I'm not a huge beer expert, but it was a hot day and beer sounded good. The woman who took our order let me try a few beers and I settled on the Mexican lager because it tasted very light and refreshing. We ordered the aforementioned brisket plate (which was on the specials board so I don't think it's always available) and a couple of appetizers. We wanted to sit outside - they have a nice area with tables that have umbrellas to create shade. The only drawbacks to sitting outside is they don't have a way to announce your food is ready and you have go to inside to get it. It was available pretty quickly though and was neatly packaged to go. The brisket was really delicious and I also enjoyed the loaded tots and Brussels sprouts. It was actually a lot of food for just two people! Definitely a fun place to hang out in a group, drink beer, and eat some good food! The indoor seating looked nice too.

Loma Brewing: Casual Brews and Eats in Los Gatos Location and Ambiance Loma Brewing is conveniently located in Los Gatos and offers comfortable seating inside. It seems like a great spot to relax and catch up with friends. Beer Selection While the beer selection wasn't extensive, we tried the Kolsch was good and Loma Vida a Mexican lager was refreshing, Whit You Talkin bout- belgian Whear, and Hazy IPA. All three were decent, but didn't stand out compared to other breweries. Food Options The food menu is fairly straightforward, with options like chips and tacos and few more. We found the food to be decent, but not particularly memorable. Our favorite was chicken tinga tacos The Final Sip If you're looking for a vast selection of craft beers, Loma Brewing might not be your top pick. However, it's a nice place to visit for a casual hangout session and a sampler of their brews. Ultimately, it's worth checking out for yourself to see if their beers hit the spot for you.

Automatic extra points from me when I ask for my fries hot and crisp and they deliver hot and crispy fries. There's a seven-minute window between great fries and soggy, sad fries, after all. Loma delivered. The patty melt, too, did not disappoint. Nor did the carne asada fries. Both delicious. After a long morning of kayaking, I left here full and stomach-happy. The ambience was nice, with plenty of seating inside and out. Pets on the patio only. The beer was good, but nothing that I felt too strongly about. Your usual selection of IPAs and light beers. The bartenders were attentive (it was later in the afternoon, and not too busy). We had a good time. It'll definitely be one of our stops when we're up Los Gatos way.

Such a cute brewery. There wasn't too much parking, shared with the bank next to it. We went early enough and just ordered our drinks and food right at the bar, found our own seats and just hung out. This is a more casual place. There wasn't too many people, but I'm guessing it can get pretty busy. We decided to sit in the restaurant area instead of the bar. They've got a room that looks like it's reserved for bigger parties. We didn't really interact with staff. The bartender was great and offered good suggestions on what to eat and portions. Other than that though, no one ever came to check on us except for when they were dropping off our food. Brussel sprouts were the best dish of the night. So delicious! The drinks and food were delicious. Tacos had the right amount of meat. Chips were just okay. Great place to hang out and eat when you're in Los Gatos.
